On the Mat with Kinetic BJJ (County Antrim)
Over a couple of visits, I’ve managed to get up close and personal with the members of the Antrim Kinetic BJJ club, to take a range of action and candid shots to be used on their socials and website. It was a great opportunity to explore new photographic opportunities.

I was in London in the period leading up to Christmas, hoping to take some pictures at night in a location that looked very festive. Then I was told that Covent Garden was the place to be, especially from the roof top terrace restaurant of the Royal Opera House.

Sometimes you don't have to travel too far for an excellent wildlife photography opportunity. I THOUGHT I was familiar with County Armagh, until I discovered Gosford Forest Park had a herd of deer.
2025First Weekend of 2025 in The Sperrins (Glenshane)
The Sperrins are brilliant at any time of the year, but given the weather forecast, I simply had to get there. The pictures were all taken not far from the Ponderosa bar (the highest pub in Ireland) from a side road off the main road ('Glenshane Pass') leading into a forest area.

Any excuse will do to go out for a walk in any forest. Today was just perfect weather after some overnight frost. The sun was starting to melt some of the ice on a pine tree, while also creating a beautiful backlit scene.
